We grew up
in this house full of animals.
Mice, hedgehogs,
chameleons,
insects,
preying mantis iKaggen galore
And down at the bottom
the Jukskie River
would flow
And then we swam
in it
and sat on orange
rocks
with sunbeams on
our backs.
