"Charity!" She shouted. "Come back, come back Charity! You have other children who need you." Charity nearly gave up hope. You see Charity lost her baby only weeks before it was due. For hours on end she had to queue to see a doctor at ICU. Charity is currently recovering and has accepted her lot in life.

Dressed
in a gray hat and orange jacket Dignity walked along the promenade tracing the
steps of people. He opened up every
green dustbin on his path for over a kilometer.
Eventually Dignity found a half eaten Happy Meal and he devoured it.

Grace
wears pink trainers. She likes to keep
on trend and always buys new shoes, Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Vans. Grace likes new shoes just because Grace can.
**
Gift's
third job was working as a cleaner. Gift worked hard to support his
family. On Sundays Gift collected
hundreds and thousands of multi-coloured bottle tops from Blue Flag beaches
where people tanned. Gift was grateful
for the work.
**
Hope
is 22 years old. Sometimes Hope gets
quite tired.
**
Precious
is exquisite. I saw her sitting outside
of a high-end bar in town one night. Precious was holding a drink in one hand
and looked wrung out, like they had taken exactly what it was they needed from
her.
**
Yesterday
lived on the street and sat here watching the journey of our plastic ear buds
washing up on the promenade. Yesterday
watched as people jogged past him and over the plastic sticks. This was not Yesterday's problem.
